Jedd and Tania trusted me very early in my birth photography career to document their story. While I will always be learning, exploring and adjusting my methods, I was still so new and not completely sure of my true role in the birth space. My camera is my comfort zone, but I was still very much learning the ins and outs as a birth photographer.

This is my first birth story and it was nothing short of special! Birth will never cease to amaze me. How do you find the words to describe something that is priceless? There is a beauty in it that cannot be defined by words.

Baby Emily was born into the arms of her wonderful parents, enveloped in love. It was such an honor to have been part of her birth day. It lit my soul and was yet another moment in my lifetime where I knew, without a doubt, that I was on the right path, pursuing my passion.
